Located near Mount Vernon, it is a 180-bed community teaching hospital focusing on managing chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary conditions, and infectious diseases.
Job Description

  • Provide independent care to specific patient populations; serve as a clinical resource, utilize evidence-based practices, and function effectively in unit-specific roles.
  • Act as a primary coordinating nurse; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate patient and family care.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for colleagues.
  • Assist in team development and evaluate the Relationship-Based Care model; suggest improvements and participate in data collection related to care outcomes.
  • Participate in initiatives targeting Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators (NSQI).

Qualifications

  • Maryland RN licensure or eligibility via Compact agreements; BSN preferred. Up-to-date mandatory training required.
  • At least one year of nursing experience with solid clinical skills.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Maintain 10 contact hours of education every two years.

Compensation

  • Pay Range: $38.51-$51.81
