Registered Nurse II CSOT3 Labor & Delivery

Job Description

We are hiring an RN for our Mother Baby/Labor & Delivery Float Pool team. This is a full-time day shift position that will float between two hospital locations, including Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, and Plaza areas. Schedules are written 8–10 weeks in advance.

Responsibilities:

1. Function independently and are accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
2. Coordinate care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team.
3. Delegate tasks appropriately.
4. Identify hospital resources.
5. Serve as a clinical resource for new employees.
6. Demonstrate positive formal or informal leadership within the unit or department.
