Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families using the nursing process. You will interact with the health care team to ensure safe, effective care and desirable outcomes.

The position is a regular, full-time employee role with 40 hours per week, hourly pay, and a $30,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. A nursing license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Minimum Training and Education

: Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

: Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
