Job summary

MUSC is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care under general supervision. The role supports safe, effective care and collaboration with the health care team in the MUHA system.

The position requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), active RN licensure in SC or a compact state, BLS, and ACLS in most units. 36 scheduled hours weekly; sign-on bonus of $18,000 for experienced hires may apply.

Minimum Training and Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required for most nursing areas within the hospital.
