Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a per diem onsite role in Bowling Green, OH. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care with emphasis on evidence-based practice.

You will collaborate with the care team, educate patients and families, and maintain thorough documentation. Required Ohio RN license by time of hire, with BLS and ACLS within 90 days, PALS in designated units within 90 days, and NRP within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required for RN license.
• BSN degree preferred but not required.
• RN license in Ohio required by time of hire.
• BLS and ACLS certification within 90 days of hire; PALS within 90 days; NRP within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values and needs.
• Collaborate and advocate with other health care providers.
• Educate patient and family from admission to discharge.
• Support a culture of safety and infection prevention.
• Work hours per week as per offer letter; longer hours may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
