Position: Registered Nurse (Full Time, Night Shift)

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They oversee the plan of care and delegate duties to other healthcare team members. As a professional, the RN contributes to the smooth operation of the nursing unit, models leadership, and helps develop self and others. The RN applies and implements the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville by promoting good public relations and maintaining patient confidentiality and satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Tennessee or compact state RN license in good standing
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 90 days
• 1-2 years recent ICU experience required

Additional Responsibilities:

• Evaluate assigned patients, plan, implement, and document nursing care
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform patient tests and administer medications within scope of practice
• Promote patient independence through education and establishing care goals
• Use experience and judgment to meet goals
• Schedule: 3x12s, varying days
