Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO seeks a Float Critical Care Nurse to deliver direct care for acutely and critically ill patients in a high-technology monitoring environment. You will assess conditions, perform tests, and assist physicians with procedures in a day shift setting.

Requires Missouri RN license, BLS within 90 days, and ACLS within one year. BSN preferred; 36-hour weekly schedule with 7:30 AM start and 12-hour shifts as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• MO RN license in good standing required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days; ACLS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients.
• Monitor and adjust specialized monitoring equipment and patient status.
• Assist physicians with procedures and treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver optimal care.
