Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the CCU/MICU night shift in Springfield, MO. You will deliver critical care, assess patients, administer meds, monitor and document care, and educate families. You may pursue in-hospital credentialing classes and participate in the pay-it-forward program.

Bonus opportunities include a clinical ladder with potential up to $5,000 yearly, $1.00 certification pay, and BSN pay; graduation from a nursing program and MO RN licensure are required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience

• Preferred: Previous nursing experience
