Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care and assist in interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations and stents. The RN circulates cases, administers moderate sedation, and supports hemodynamic management during procedures.

Requirements include Missouri RN licensure, BLS within 90 days, ACLS within one year, and a nursing degree from an accredited program.

The RN assists in performing interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, angioplasties, and stents. Other procedures include inserting pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will circulate cases, administer moderate sedation, pain medication, and any other medications ordered by the physician during the procedure.
