Nexus MedPro Staffing Inc. is seeking an ICU Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Plainview, Texas.

You will deliver direct care to critically ill adults in a rural acute care hospital, perform assessments, monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year ICU experience, active Texas RN license, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and Epic charting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ICU RN experience.
• Active Texas RN license or eligible compact license in hand at submission.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Epic charting experience required — hard stop.
• Strong critical care assessment and patient monitoring skills.
• Experience with IV therapy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line management.
• Knowledge of respiratory support, oxygen administration, and suctioning.
• Ability to provide independent bedside nursing care.
• Comfortable working in a rural hospital environment.
• Willingness to assist Medical-Surgical when needed.
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply if they meet the clinical requirements.

Travel ICU Registered Nurse – Plainview, TX | Up to $2,377/Week | Days

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable healthcare facility in Plainview, Texas.

Position Overview:

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients in a rural acute care hospital environment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, continuous monitoring, medication administration, respiratory support, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

The ideal candidate has strong ICU experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a smaller hospital setting.

When ICU census is low, the nurse may assist the Medical-Surgical unit with a limited patient assignment or other patient care activities.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Plainview, TX.
• Weekly Pay: Up to $2,377.
• Start Date: November 30, 2026.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Schedule: Days, 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).
• Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• On-Call: None.
• Floating: May assist Medical-Surgical when ICU census is low.
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital – ICU.
