Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certification
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an acute‑care ICU setting
• Additional client‑facility requirements (as determined by the facility)

Duties / Responsibilities

ICU/Critical Care RN provides comprehensive care to adult patients with life‑threatening conditions, performing complex assessments and high‑intensity interventions.

• Deliver patient care, education, and support to families.
• Maintain life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor vital signs for distress indicators.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulously document medication administration.
• Assist with emergency nursing procedures when patient condition changes.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
