Nexus MedPro Staffing Inc. is seeking an ICU Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Plainview, Texas.

You will deliver direct care to critically ill adults in a rural acute care hospital, perform assessments, monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year ICU experience, active Texas RN license, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and Epic charting.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year ICU RN experience.
• Active Texas RN license or eligible compact license in hand at submission.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
• Epic charting experience required — hard stop.
• Strong critical care assessment and patient monitoring skills.
• Experience with IV therapy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line management.
• Knowledge of respiratory support, oxygen administration, and suctioning.
• Ability to provide independent bedside nursing care.
• Comfortable working in a rural hospital environment.
• Willingness to assist Medical-Surgical when needed.
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply if they meet the clinical requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients in a rural acute care hospital setting.
• Perform patient assessment and continuous monitoring; administer medications and support respiratory functions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist Medical-Surgical units when ICU census is low and participate in cross-unit coverage.
