Job summary

Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking a talented Registered Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit. This full-time night-shift role focuses on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-acuity setting.

You will work with intensivists, NPs and respiratory therapists to coordinate care, supervise other staff, and uphold the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of patients and consult with health care team members.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours, Nights

We are seeking experienced nurses who provide patient centered care with compassion and empathy. Supportive leadership team, with Nursing Assistants to assist

Intensivists and NP's work alongside RNs during shifts, Respiratory Therapy available at night

In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
