Job summary

Nashville General Hospital seeks an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU, Night Shift, in a 13-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio. You will administer medications, manage ventilator care, and coordinate care across disciplines to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements include an ADN or BSN, 2+ years ICU experience preferred, BLS and ACLS, and Tennessee (or compact) RN licensure. Benefits include disability, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and more.

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Program.
• 2 years minimum ICU experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS are required.

Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Night Shift, who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member.

This is a 13 Bed Unit with a 2:1 Patient Ratio.

As an ICU RN, you will:

• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Provide respiratory, and ventilator management and monitoring for patients
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Program
• 2 years minimum of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS are required
• Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state
