Job summary

Nashville General Hospital seeks an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU, Night Shift, in a 13-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio. You will administer medications, manage ventilator care, and coordinate care across disciplines to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements include an ADN or BSN, 2+ years ICU experience preferred, BLS and ACLS, and Tennessee (or compact) RN licensure. Benefits include disability, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Program.
• 2 years minimum ICU experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS are required.
• Current Licensure to practice as an RN in Tennessee or a compact state.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs.
• Provide respiratory and ventilator management for patients.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized systems.
• Assist with discharge planning in coordination with the health care team.
