Job summary

SoftPath Medical seeks an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a float pool covering two hospital locations in Morgantown, WV. Night shifts are 12 hours, with at least four shifts per month and scheduling coordinated with the facility.

Candidates must have ACLS/BLS, NIHSS, an active nursing license, two clinical references, and at least 2 years ICU experience. Cerner EHR experience is preferred; flexibility to float to stepdown units is required.

ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool Opportunity

ICU RNs are needed for a float pool covering two hospital locations. Candidates must be willing to work at both sites as needed.

Interview Process

A 10–15-minute virtual or in-person interview is required. Please provide three possible dates and time frames for the interview when submitting application notes.

Note: Candidates should be comfortable and open to floating to stepdown units as this will be a common requirement.

Requirements

• ACLS and BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• Active nursing license (state or compact)
• Two clinical references from the past 2 years

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC certification
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records

Orientation Details

• Hospital orientation occurs every other Monday, from 7:45 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (starting May 2)
• Pre-orientation modules must be completed beforehand, requiring no more than 5 hours

Shift Details

• Night shifts only
• 12-hour shifts: 7:0<p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Must be available to work at least 4 shifts per month
• Scheduling will be coordinated directly with the facility

Additional Information

• Candidates must be willing to float to lower acuity units as needed
• A minimum 1-year separation from certain previous healthcare employers is required
• Cerner charting experience is preferred
