Registered Nurse - Full Time, Day Shift

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. They oversee the plan of care and delegate duties to other healthcare team members. As a professional, they contribute to the smooth operation of the nursing unit, serve as role models, and provide leadership. They apply and implement the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville, promoting good public relations while maintaining patient confidentiality and satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Tennessee or compact state RN license in good standing
• Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelors preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 90 days
• 1 year ICU or relevant Critical Care experience required

Additional Responsibilities:

• Evaluate assigned patients, plan, implement, and document nursing care
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice
• Promote patient independence through education and establishing care goals
• Use experience and judgment to achieve care objectives
• Shift: 3x12s, varying days
