Job Details

• Patient Ratios: 2:1, with potential to flex to 3:1 during high census
• Average Daily Census: 11-12
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• RTO: Maximum of 7 days
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call Requirement: None
• Float Requirement: Yes
  
  

Patient Diagnoses

Our patient population includes strokes (ischemic, hemorrhagic [SAH]), SDH, craniotomies, carotid stents, carotid endarterectomies, aneurysm coiling/clipping, seizures, depth electrodes, and myasthenia gravis.

Special Procedures and Equipment

• Special Procedures: Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Equipment: EVD, Lumbar Drains, Camino, LICOX, NICOM, and Arctic Sun

• Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
• Scheduling: Per unit needs
• Orientation: 24 hours (2 days or 2 nights)
• Scrubs: Navy blue & white
