The Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) seeks qualified nursing professionals across RN I-III, including Advanced Practice Nurse, Nurse Consultant, Nursing Supervisor and Compliance Nurse. Incentives up to $10,000 plus referral bonuses of $1,000 are offered to new hires and referrals, with a two-year employment commitment.

Eligibility is for new state employees and specific nursing classifications.

Qualifikationen

• Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license, Delaware temporary license or multi-state compact license.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing OR at least one year experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Possession of a Delaware Registered Nurse license OR multi-state compact license.

Aufgaben

• Performs clinical assessments and communicates with physicians, families, guardians and managed care.
• Administers medications and completes treatments and documentation.
• Delegates duties to LPNs and CNAs and monitors care provided to residents.
• Provides or evaluates direct nursing care and develops/updates nursing care plans.
• Maintains effective working relationships with the treatment team and prepares/submits records and reports.
• Participates in quality assurance activities.

Ausbildung

Delaware RN license or multi-state compact

Nursing degree (Bachelor or higher) or 1+ year RN experience
