Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse I to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies.

Requires completion of basic nursing education and a valid multi-state or Oklahoma RN license. 0–6 months experience preferred. Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shifts 5:30–21:00, Mon-Fri, with some closing shifts; no weekend call. This is a safety sensitive OMMA position.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of disease state management, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
• Detail oriented in examination of clinical and numerical data.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assesses, organizes, and completes patient care with consideration for age, culture, and psychosocial factors.
• Documents steps of the nursing process using proper medical terminology.
• Addresses problems and progress toward goals.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and supports unit/hospital goals through education and PI activities.
