Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse I to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process. The RN will collaborate with other professionals and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge.

Minimum education includes a basic nursing program graduate with an active Oklahoma RN license. Experience ranges 0–6 months; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Has completed basic professional curricula of a nursing program and holds or is eligible for a diploma/degree.
• RN license valid in multi-state or Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Assess and organize patient care considering age, culture, and psychosocial factors.
• Document steps of the nursing process using proper terminology.
• Address problems and progress toward care goals for each patient.
• Facilitate discharge through referrals and patient education.
• Collaborate with related disciplines to meet unit and hospital goals.
• Participate in PI and education activities; attend in-services and meet education standards.
