Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Nursing School with strong interpersonal and supervisory abilities.
• Currently licensed in the State of Maryland.
• ACLS Provider and PALS Completion within 1 year in specified departments.
• BLS Provider Completion within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments and reassessments and documents data for nursing diagnoses.
• Develops and documents an individualized Plan of Care.
• Coordinates resources and personnel to implement the Plan of Care.
• Delivers treatments and medications as ordered and follows hospital policy.
• Evaluates patient response and revises the Plan of Care as needed.
• Ensures accurate documentation and communicates changes to the care team.
• Educates patients and families and documents understanding.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure safe patient throughput and continuity of care.
