Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or eligible to practice per MD Board of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Up-to-date status on all mandatory training and classes.

Responsibilities

• Provides independent care to unit specific patient population and serves as a clinical resource.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care addressing patient/family needs.
• Assists in team development and evaluation of the Relationship-Based Care model and participates in outcomes data collection.
• Supports charge nurse decisions and performs charge role for assigned shifts as needed.
• Contributes to unit governance, professional development, performance improvement and evidence-based practice.
