What You' ll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care
  • Working in the Senior Behavioral Unit in Vinita, OK
  • Provide nursing care based on patient age, condition, cultural needs, and psychosocial factors
  • Monitor patient condition and progress toward established goals
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
  • Use appropriate medical terminology and maintain complete patient records
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, discharge instructions, and ongoing care
  • Coordinate timely referrals and resources to support successful patient discharge
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Organize and prioritize patient-care responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Participate in continuing education, in-services, and performance-improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and hospital leadership
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of a state-approved professional nursing program
  • Diploma or degree in Nursing
  • Licensure: Valid State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License OR Valid Multi-State/Compact RN License
  • Experience: 0– 6 months of related nursing experience
  • New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply
