Job summary

Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the NICU at Baystate Children’s Hospital, the region’s only Level III NICU.

The role offers Magnet recognition, shared governance, and robust benefits including continuing education and loan forgiveness programs. The schedule is 7 AM–7 PM with rotating weekends/holidays; MA RN licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient RN experience; 2 years in Mother/baby or NICU preferred.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

The Davis Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baystate Children’s Hospital is the region’s only Level III NICU.

We have a team of neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, residents, pediatric subspecialists, respiratory therapists, and neonatal nutritionists here to care for our littlest patients, 24 hours a day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 year of inpatient RN experience required, 2 year of Mother/baby or NICU experience preferred.
