The role you’ll contribute:

The Patient Care Supervisor (PCS) oversees hospital operations during evening, weekend, and holiday hours. The PCS models our vision and values, complies with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, and collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and staff to ensure a patient-centered, healing environment. The PCS also supervises staff and manages clinical practice within established policies and standards.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Review staffing and census to align with budget and patient needs, adjusting staff as necessary.
• Conduct regular rounds to assess and address issues.
• Provide crisis intervention across hospital departments.
• Facilitate patient admissions and flow.
• Coordinate emergency surgeries with Surgical Services and Cardiac Cath Lab teams.
• Assist staff with equipment and supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Kansas Registered Nurse License
• BCLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or completion within 4 years of employment
