Ascension St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Nursing Administration leader for a PRN, Day Shift role. This onsite position focuses on ensuring smooth patient flow, staffing, and quality care during off-hours.
You will collaborate with the ED, ICU, inpatient units and ancillary services, enforce regulatory compliance, drive quality initiatives, and respond decisively to emergencies to protect patients and staff.

Clinical Operational Leadership: Serves as the vital onsite leader during off-hours, orchestrating hospital-wide patient flow, resource allocation, and clinical staffing to guarantee safe, continuous, and high-quality patient care.
Crisis & Emergency Management: Acts as the primary responder and incident commander for clinical emergencies, facility alerts, and critical situations, ensuring swift, decisive action that protects patient and staff safety.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Bridges communication gaps across all hospital departments—including the ED, ICU, inpatient units, and ancillary services—to break down silos and optimize throughput.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Advocacy: Safeguards clinical excellence by monitoring adherence to healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and safety protocols, actively mitigating risks in real-time.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted, required.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, required.
Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, required.
Education:
5+ years of RN experience
Experience in Charge or Leadership
