Position Summary

Registered Nurse - Hospital Care at Home - Downtown Orlando - Night shift

Location: Orange County, FL

Position Type: Variable Full-Time (Night shift)

Shift Hours: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Note: This is NOT a remote/work-from-home position. You will be required to travel to patients' homes to provide in-home acute nursing care and work in the patient care hub to provide virtual care.

The Orlando Health Hospital Care at Home program delivers acute hospital-level care to adult patients within the comfort of their own homes. This role provides nurses with the unique opportunity to build strong, personal connections with patients and their families. Our enhanced acute-care model utilizes portable technology to connect patients to the Orlando Health Patient Care Hub for 24/7 remote monitoring and virtual care. This innovative approach allows us to deliver high-quality care, improve outcomes, reduce healthcare costs, and enhance the overall patient experience.

Position Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will administer patient care within the inpatient/observation setting, providing active treatment for injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, or post-intervention needs. Your responsibilities will include both in-home acute care and virtual care through our Patient Care Hub.

Education/Training

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.

Licensure/Certification

  • Maintains current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
  • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel.

Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of acute care nursing experience required.
