Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients and families, document findings, and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Plan and individualize care based on assessments, standards, and patient-specific outcomes, including discharge planning.
• Provide a safe, respectful environment, maintaining patient dignity and rights, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Carry out physician orders, evaluate care plans, and document patient responses and teaching.
• Supervise delegated care, administer medications and treatments safely, and use equipment properly.
• Engage in professional development, share knowledge, and support continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire
• Up to 1 year of clinical nursing experience
• Knowledge of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences
