Saint Luke’s Hospice House is seeking a PRN RN to join their team. The role covers end-of-life patient care with 3 shifts across a 6-week period, including 1 minor holiday.

The RN must hold a compact license or MO/Kansas license and will work in a hospice setting within Missouri/Kansas. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, delivering patient care, delegating tasks, and coordinating the care plan with the health-care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Formación

• RN with Missouri and Kansas compact license (or MO & KS)
• End-of-life care experience preferred
• Demonstrates nursing process and clinical proficiency
• Supervises other patient-care staff as needed

The Opportunity

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
