Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, patient‑centered care across the Connecticut coverage area. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to design and implement care plans that uphold comfort and dignity.

The role requires an active RN license and at least one year of nursing experience, with a schedule of Monday–Friday daytime hours and a competitive compensation package in the $90,000–$105,000 range based on

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care that maximizes comfort and quality of life.
• Partner with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to create and carry out care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments—physical, emotional, social, and spiritual—to guide care decisions.
• Educate and support patients and caregivers, meeting them where they are.
• Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure continuity and dignity.
• Document care clearly and accurately to reflect patient needs and progress.
• Participate in on‑call or admission rotations as needed.
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8am -5pm

Coverage Area

Bristol, Plainville, New Britain, Newington, Berlin, Southington, Meriden, Cheshire, Wallingford, Cromwell, Thomaston
