Job summary

Carolina Caring is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Homecare team. This full-time role offers opportunities to work across Homecare, Admissions, and Inpatient Units, providing high-quality hospice care while adapting to staffing needs.

The ideal RN will be flexible, maintain NC licensure, have CPR, and bring 1–3 years of hospice/oncology experience. This position involves travel up to 75% and supports a team-focused, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted North Carolina nursing license required.
• CPR certification must be maintained.
• One to three years of hospice/oncology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care per physician orders and individualized care plans.
• Conduct nursing assessments and education for patients and caregivers.
• Deliver compassionate support across Homecare, Admissions, and Inpatient Units as needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient-centered hospice care.

Carolina Caring is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Float Homecare team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered hospice care while supporting multiple areas of our organization, including Homecare, Admissions, and Inpatient Units, based on staffing and patient care needs.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a variety of care settings. Responsibilities include providing skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders, nursing assessments, and individualized care plans, while offering education, guidance, and compassionate support to patients and their caregivers.

Employee Type:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

Required Degree:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – Bachelor’s degree preferred. Current, unrestricted North Carolina nursing license required. Must maintain CPR certification.

One to three years of hospice/oncology nursing experience required.
