Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a skilled Home Health clinician for day shifts to perform infusion and skilled nursing visits in patients' homes around Tampa. Must have infusion and home health experience, with OASIS training preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable with IV therapy, wound care, glucometer use, and basic lab work; a valid driver’s license and vehicle are required. COVID vaccination or approved exemption is required, with masking observed at all times while on site.

Qualifications

• Infusion and home health experience required.
• OASIS training and home health exposure preferred.
• IV skills and wound care capabilities essential.
• High-risk medical conditions common (HF, COPD, MI, pneumonia, stroke).
• BCLS certification required.
• 1 year of home health experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.
• COVID vaccination or approved exemption; mask-wearing mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform home health visits, 6–8 per day.
• Assess cardiopulmonary status and wound care needs.
• Administer injections, draws, and IV therapies as qualified.
• Operate glucometer, pro-time machine, and basic labs.
• Maintain documentation using BayCare forms and scheduling tools.
• Schedule visits based on office needs; participate in care planning.

Unit Info (share with your traveler):

Skilled Home Care (Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Commercial ins.) Patients: cardiopulmonary assessment, basic wound care, ABI compression dressing, wound vac dressing, Pleurx /Aseptdrain care, foley catheter change and care, staple/suture removal, use of glucometer, use of pro-time machine, SQ/IM injections, lab draw venipuncture, IV skills, PICC line or Midline care and dressing change, SQ port access/deaccess

Home skilled visits - 6-8 per day

Day/Shift hours can vary to the needs of the HomeCare office:

Mon - Fri 8a to 5p Mon - Fri 9a to 6p Thurs- Mon or Fri to Tues shifts Alternating weekend shifts

Laptop, MiFi for internet access, Portable printers BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, Ace Timesheet documentation system

Other requirements:

1 year experience required Must have valid drivers license and car to make home visits. Must be COVID vaccinated or with exemption form on file. Must have flu shot or declination and in both cases mandatory mask wearing at all times while at work.
