RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Scranton / Dickson City, PA to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will perform assessments, manage care plans, and provide direct skilled nursing care in coordination with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, and symptom management; you will supervise LPNs/LVNs and HHAs, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure compliant documentation.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or BSN).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical RN experience; home health or hospice experience preferred.
• Current, unencumbered PA RN license.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license with insured, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within service area.

• Direct Clinical Care: conduct comprehensive physical, emotional, and psychosocial assessments and provide skilled interventions including wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, and symptom/pain management.
• Care Planning & Coordination: develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with physicians, therapists, social workers, and aides; respond to changes in patient condition.
• Patient & Family Support: educate patients and caregivers on care management, disease progression, and health maintenance while offering emotional support.
• Team Supervision: oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs/LVNs, HHAs, and nursing support personnel.
• On-Call & Emergency Response: participate in on-call rotations and urgent clinical responses as needed.
• Documentation & Compliance: maintain accurate, timely clinical records in compliance with state/federal regulations and agency policies.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will conduct assessments, manage individualized care plans, and provide direct skilled nursing care in coordination with an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive physical, emotional, and psychosocial assessments. Deliver skilled interventions including wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, and symptom/pain management (hospice/palliative care).

• Care Planning & Coordination: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, social workers, and care aides. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

• Patient & Family Support: Educate patients and caregivers on care management, disease progression, and health maintenance while offering emotional support.

• Team Supervision: Oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs/LVNs, Home Health Aides (HHAs), and nursing support personnel.

• On-Call & Emergency Response: Participate in scheduled on-call rotations, patient admissions, and urgent clinical responses as needed.

• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in full compliance with state/federal regulations, agency policies, and professional standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or BSN).

• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of clinical RN experience required (Home Health or Hospice experience preferred).

• Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.

• Certifications: Active CPR/BLS certification required.

• Driver Requirements: Valid driver's license with an insured, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within the service area.
