Job summary
AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time, day shifts. The role includes comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and patient education. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize care, while maintaining precise documentation and adherence to standards.
Required RN license and BLS, Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). 1+ acute care experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Associate's of Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's of Nursing is preferred.
- RN license and BLS certification are required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in the medical record.
