Job summary

Meharry Medical College in Nashville is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager. Responsibilities

• Provide physical care for clients under RN training and supervision.
• Assist in assessments, physical exams, and treatments as ordered.
• Collect specimens for laboratory exams as needed.
• Prepare, administer, and record medications per physician orders.
• Maintain clinical records in compliance with standards.
• Observe and report signs/symptoms of patient conditions.
• Participate in treatment planning and education on health topics.
• Count, secure, and document controlled medications; report at shift start/end.
• Attend required trainings and adhere to college policies.
