Job summary

FutureCare in Baltimore is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality resident care across assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. You will review medical records for compliance with state and federal guidelines and evaluate responses to care plans under physician orders.

Ideal candidates hold Maryland RN licensure, CPR certification, and have about a year of nursing experience, preferably in acute or long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse license issued in Maryland.
• CPR certification required.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the delivery of resident care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines.
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans.
• Evaluate and monitor resident responses to daily implementation of nursing care to ensure the provision of resident care plans are met.
• Implement physician’s orders, nursing interventions and procedures as needed for the care of the resident.
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels.
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility.
