Job summary

Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved.
- ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
- Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
- Discharge planning and access to community resources.
