Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be valid for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise nursing care for patients admitted to the unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and teaching.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and access community resources as needed.
