Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Fort Bend HealthCare Center in Rosenberg, TX. The RN will participate in and oversee patient care services, observe and report changes, and document in the EMR according to policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include administering medications as prescribed, executing physician orders, and coordinating timely delivery of quality care by the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Ability to observe and report patient conditions clearly.
• Familiar with state and federal nursing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions and document in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Oversee provision of patient care services consistent with accepted standards and physician orders.
• EMR documentation related to patient assessment and changes in condition.
• May administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physicians’ orders; implement a patient care plan.
• Direct, monitor, and coordinate timely delivery of quality patient care by staff.
• Ensure Patient Care Management Systems are routinely in-serviced and integrated into the delivery of patient care.
