Job summary

Mercy’s GIG Nursing Program is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses who want the flexibility to choose shifts and make an immediate impact on patient care in Fort Smith. This program requires self-scheduling a minimum number of hours and flexibility for short-notice staffing needs, with no guaranteed hours and potential for last-minute cancellations.

Incentives include a $40/hour base rate, additional shift incentives, and W-2 employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Must maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact state licensure.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent bedside RN experience in Emergency Nursing within the last 2 years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Epic EMR experience is preferred.

Do you thrive in a fast-paced emergency care environment? Mercy's GIG Nursing Program is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses who want the flexibility to choose shifts while making an immediate impact on patient care. Participation in the GIG Nursing Program requires nurses to self-schedule a minimum number of hours, maintain flexibility for short-notice staffing needs, and accept the possibility of last-minute shift cancellations. GIG positions do not guarantee hours and are the first positions subject to cancellation.

Qualifications

Required Education

Licensure

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly
