Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care with other departments. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality, while upholding Mercy Service Standards and mission.

Responsibilities include assessing and delivering direct patient care, evaluating care effectiveness, and ensuring professional accountability for assigned patients across units with appropriate life support certifications and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse licensed in Oklahoma or compact licensure.
• Education: ADN, Diploma, or BSN from an approved nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current life support certification per Mercy policy within 90 days after hire.
• For Med Surg (MS) and Women's and Children's (WC) - BLS; For Critical Care (CC) - BLS/ACLS; For ED - BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Responsibilities

Position Details:

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience: 1 year of experience
• Certifications: Life support certification current upon hire and in alignment with Mercy policy no later than 90 days after hire.
• For Med Surg (MS) and Women's and Children's (WC) - BLS
• For Critical Care (CC) - BLS, ACLS
• For ED - BLS, ACLS, PALS

Physical requirements/demands:

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
