Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Registered Nurse for the GI Lab in Cumming, GA. This onsite 13-week contract features day shifts (4x10-hour days) with a pay package including $22/hour and weekly stipends. The assignment starts 9/14/2026 and runs for 13 weeks.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years GI Lab nursing experience, AHA BLS and ACLS certifications, and familiarity with GI and pulmonary procedures such as EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopy. Holidays are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the GI Lab environment.
• Assist with GI and pulmonary interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient status and vitals during procedures.
• Prepare and assist with EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopy as needed.

Job Description

Day Shift 10 hours/day 4 days/week

Registered Nurse - GI Lab

Location: Cumming, GA 30041
Address: 1200 Northside Forsyth Drive
Unit: 703F GI Lab
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days | Monday-Friday | 4×10-hour shifts | 40 hours/week
Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Call: Required during the week and weekends
Local Candidates: No local candidates within 50 miles

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent GI Lab nursing experience

AHA BLS certification required

AHA ACLS certification required

Experience with GI and pulmonary interventional procedures preferred

Procedures Performed

The GI Lab performs a wide range of GI and pulmonary procedures, including:

• EGD
• Bronchoscopy
• Feeding tube placement
• ERCP
• EBUS
• Navigational bronchoscopy
• Variceal banding
• Bravo manometry

Holiday Requirements

Must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3:

• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day

Additionally, must work 1 minor holiday:

• Day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• New Year's Eve
