Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity, geriatric-focused unit delivering patient-centered care. You will work on the night shift within a team-based model including RNs, LPNs, Nurse Externs, PCAs, and Virtual RNs to ensure safe and effective outcomes.

The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate, MN licensure, and current BLS. ADN holders should begin BSN studies within six months of hire, aiming for completion within four years.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• If ADN, enroll in BSN within 6 months and complete in 4 years.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan; current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

3 Lacks at Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is a 32‑bed, all‑private‑room acute care unit specializing in geriatric patients (65+). This high‑acuity, adaptable care environment unit manages telemetry, cardiac drips, high‑flow oxygen, BiPAP, and advanced therapies. Nurses care for patients with rapidly changing conditions, using advanced assessment and strong clinical judgment. 3 Lacks follows a nurse‑directed, team‑based care model with RNs, LPNs, Nurse Externs, PCAs, and Virtual RNs. The hospital is a NICHE Exemplar Organization, recognized for excellence in geriatric nursing and interdisciplinary collaboration. What you will work

• Full-time
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every third weekend rotation Night Shift

Position Summary

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

What Registered Nurse, RN will need

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
• Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• Current BLS AHA certification
• Experience in a health care setting
