Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift to join a high-acuity geriatric unit. You will participate in a nurse-directed, team-based model with RNs, LPNs, Nurse Externs, PCAs, and Virtual RNs, delivering patient-centered care with strong clinical judgement.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree (ADN required, BSN preferred) and current BLS/ACLS or AHA certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Current BLS per AHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a geriatric acute care unit.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, Nurse Externs, PCAs and Virtual RNs to deliver care.
• Foster evidence-based, patient-centered care during shifts.

This high‑acuity, adaptable care environment unit manages telemetry, cardiac drips, high‑flow oxygen, BiPAP, and advanced therapies. Nurses care for patients with rapidly changing conditions, using advanced assessment and strong clinical judgement. 3 Lacks follows a nurse‑directed, team‑based care model with RNs, LPNs, Nurse Externs, PCAs, and Virtual RNs. The hospital is a NICHE Exemplar Organization, recognized for excellence in geriatric nursing and interdisciplinary collaboration. What you will work

Full-time Three 12-hour shifts per week 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Every third weekend rotation

Position Summary:

Registered Nurse, RN works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidenced based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse, RN is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.

What Registered Nurse, RN will need:

Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire Licensed in the State of Michigan Current BLS AHA certification Experience in a health care setting
