Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Weaver 6 General PCU team. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity at Baptist Medical Center.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience in a hospital setting, an ASN, and an active RN license with BLS certification; BSN preferred. Sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• ASN in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Licensed Registered Nurse is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of medical/surgical conditions.
• Uphold hospital mission statement.
• Educate patients and families about disease process and plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other hospital staff.
• Advocate for patients.
• Participate in unit activities and meetings.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the new Weaver 6 General PCU team at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.


• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement.


• Educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care.


• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.


• Serve as patient advocate.


• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.

Experience Requirements

• 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience.


• Hospital Experience.

Education & Credential Requirements

• Associate of Science in Nursing Required.


• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred.


• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required (American Heart Association).


• Licensed Registered Nurse Required.
