Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Weaver 6 General PCU team. This is a full-time daytime position offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include providing care across medical and surgical conditions, educating patients and families, and collaborating with physicians. Requirements: ASN, BSN preferred, BLS, and RN licensure.

Qualifications

• 1 year medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Hospital experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required (American Heart Association).
• Licensed Registered Nurse required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical or surgical conditions, including chronic illnesses or minor injuries.
• Uphold the hospital mission and participate in unit activities.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other hospital departments.
• Advocate for patients and ensure their safety.
• Engage in staff meetings and unit activities.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the new Weaver 6 General PCU team at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity.

As a Registered Nurse you will be Responsible for:

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Serve as patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Experience Requirements:

• 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
• Hospital Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Associate of Science in Nursing Required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required (American Heart Association)
