Beloit Health System's Beloit Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Gastroenterology (GI) team. You will deliver patient-centered care for gastrointestinal conditions and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve high-quality outcomes and an outstanding patient experience.

The GI RN role requires an accredited nursing degree (ADN/BSN/MSN), WI RN license at hire (and IL license within 3 months), CPR within 3 months, ACLS/PALS within 6 months,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• WI Registered Nurse license at hire; if multistate compact, must get WI within 3 months.
• IL RN license within 3 months of hire.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Previous experience in surgical services or gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient and family education consistently and appropriately.
• Identify patient/family learning needs and implement education using written/verbal materials.
• Strictly abide by infection control and patient safety policies.
• Perform all basic nursing skills required for the unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the patient’s plan of care.
• Develop an individualized plan of care leading to achievable outcomes.

The Registered Nurse in Gastroenterology will:

• Provide patient and family education consistently and appropriately.
• Consistently identify patient/family learning needs and implements appropriate education utilizing written, and/or verbal, audiovisual material.
• Strictly abide with hospital infection control and patient safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently perform all basic skills required for nursing as described on unit-based.
• Appropriately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the patient's plan of care.
• Interpret assessment data and develops an individualized plan of care which will lead to achievable patient outcomes.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN, BSN, or MSN accepted.
