Job summary

Beloit Health System is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Gastroenterology (GI) team at Beloit Memorial Hospital. You will provide nursing care to patients with GI conditions and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes and an outstanding patient experience.

The role offers a 1st shift, 40-hour work week, a sign-on bonus, and benefits eligibility. You should be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with WI RN license and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN, BSN, or MSN accepted.
• WI Registered Nurse license at hire; multi-state compact requires WI within 3 months.
• IL RN license within 3 months of hire.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Previous experience in surgical services or gastroenterology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient and family education consistently and appropriately.
• Identify patient/family learning needs and utilize appropriate education materials.
• Abide with hospital infection control and patient safety policies and procedures.
• Perform basic nursing skills as described on unit-based.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient's plan of care.
• Develop an individualized plan of care from assessment data to achieve outcomes.

The Registered Nurse in Gastroenterology will:

• Provide patient and family education consistently and appropriately.
• Consistently identify patient/family learning needs and implements appropriate education utilizing written, and/or verbal, audiovisual material.
• Strictly abide with hospital infection control and patient safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently perform all basic skills required for nursing as described on unit-based.
• Appropriately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the patient's plan of care.
• Interpret assessment data and develops an individualized plan of care which will lead to achievable patient outcomes.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN, BSN, or MSN accepted.
• Require WI Registered Nurse license at hire. (if multistate compact license, must get WI within 3 months).
• IL RN license within 3 months of hire.
• Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire.
