Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care. The RN will demonstrate leadership within the Nursing Professional Practice Model and mentor others while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Applicants should be a graduate of a nursing program with BLS competency and state RN licensure; familiarity with electronic medical records is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• All entry-level RN start dates require evidence of BSN within five years for those starting April 1, 2020 or later.
• One year of RN experience or LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care and education.
• Support professional nursing practice across settings and care continuum.
• Lead and participate in committees or quality improvement with strong communication and mentoring.
• Drive patient transitions and adapt to unpredictable situations.
